DESCRIPTION:Join us as we explore cultural traditions that are “so Miami.” Meet the artisans and experts whose crafts\, skills\, and services make Miami\, Miami during these intimate\, one-of-a-kind experiences.   \n  \nTraditional Island Eats at Jamaica Kitchen  \nSaturday\, August 21  \n10:45 AM – 11:45 AM  \nLocation: Jamaica Kitchen\, 8736 SW 72nd St\, Miami\, FL 33173  \n  \nGo behind-the-scenes at one of Miami’s most famous spots for Jamaican cuisine. Owned by Cheryl and Anson Chin\, a Chinese-Jamaican husband-and-wife team\, Jamaica Kitchen is a small restaurant with a big reputation\, having been featured on The Food Network’s Diners\, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. Before opening to the public\, the owners will guide participants in a tasting experience highlighting some of their most popular dishes such as curry goat\, jerk chicken\, and an assortment of Jamaican patties.  \nMeal included in ticket price. Recommended for ages 10+.
