SUMMARY:Free Family Fun Day: Back To School!
DESCRIPTION:As we get ready to go back to school\, go back in time and connect with our city’s unique past. Step in to the shoes of a history detective with our scavenger hunt. Meet Julia Tuttle\, Henry Flagler\, and other great historical figures as our educators bring history to life with a 2PM tour of our permanent exhibition Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida. The tour will highlight significant moments in our city’s rich history. Enter our raffle for a chance to win one of the following prizes: \n\nA guided 2-hour tour at the museum for up to 30 students of any age.\nA professional development session training for up to 20 teachers for 4 hours.\nA colorful basket of school supplies.\n\nMust be 18 or older to enter. One entry per adult. Drawing will be held the following Monday\, August 13. Winners will be contacted and will need to confirm no later than Wednesday\, August 15.
