SUMMARY:Free Family Fun Day: Tassa Rhythms from Trinidad   
DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in the sounds\, flavors\, and traditions of Trinidad! Dance to the rhythms of the tassa drum during our Tassarama performance featuring a variety of local tassa ensembles as well as steel pan music. Enjoy craft activities\, cuisine\, storytelling\, and much more\, all inspired by Trinidadian culture. Crafts and activities will run from 10 am to 4 pm. \n\n\n\nPerformers include: Dynamic Tassa Group\, Romeo’s Tassa Kids\, Rangela Tassa Group\, Sunshine Tassa Band\, The Cassies steel pan ensemble\, and DJ Ravi. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFamily Fun Day programming is subject to change without notice.  \n\n\n\n\n\nHave your E-ticket ready upon arrival to the museum for expediated check-in. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis project is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFun Days are possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs\, the Cultural Affairs Council\, the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners\, and the Miami Downtown Development Authority. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibilityTo request materials in accessible format\, sign language interpreters\, and/or any disability accommodation\, please contact Darianne Hernandez\, Visitor Services Manager\, at accessibility@historymiami.org or call (305) 375-1651 at least two weeks in advance of your visit to initiate your request.
