DESCRIPTION:Mark the museum’s 80th birthday with a first look at our new exhibition\, coinciding with May’s FREE Family Fun Day! Start your visit of It’s a Miami Thing with a tour led by HistoryMiami Resident Historian Dr. Paul George and take the opportunity to explore the Museum’s other installations. Enjoy music\, salsa dancing\, Junkanoo\, and hands-on activities like a party hat-making station\, where kids can craft head-topping works of art and then pop into the HM photo booth to capture the moment. A scavenger hunt throughout the Museum’s galleries will thrill guests of all ages. This is a party you don’t want to miss! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFamily Fun Days are possible with the support of the Miami Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs\, the Cultural Affairs Council\, the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners\, the Miami Downtown Development Authority and The Batchelor Foundation.
